Personal Training Methods

My LifeWay personal training services are comprehensive. Each client receives an initial thorough wellness assessment which includes fitness assessment, dietary analysis and a health risk assessment.

Every client is supplied with a detailed set of exercise guidelines. 

Personal Fitness Appraisal

Your fitness assessment includes testing for the following:

  • Cardiopulmonary fitness
  • Muscular strength and endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Body composition

Dietary Appraisal

Using a simple 3 - 5 day diet record your current dietary patterns will be evaluated using a computer analysis program and you will receive specific diet modification recommendations, if needed.

Health Risk/Lifestyle Appraisal

An assessment of health risk is done with written results and recommendations. Your analysis will look at health risk for key lifestyle and disease indicators.

Goals

Initial and ongoing goals development is an important part of your services. Each client receives an initial goal/objective sheet with specific goals and objectives.

For clients who contract for longer term packages (10 sessions or more) or are returning mini assessments to check progress are performed as part of the package price.

Personal Fitness Training Sessions

A regular personal training session in your home or office normally consists of a full-body workout, including warm-up, assisted stretching, a targeted workout to meet your goals, and core stability and strengthening.

Fitness Training Frequency

You can schedule as many sessions/week as you wish. However a minimum of one session every two weeks is required. For new clients it is recommended that for the first week that each session is with trainer.

Personal Training Members Area

The on-line members section provides you with a personal resource center. Get program updates, communicate with your trainer (via message board or e-mail) and much more.
